I meet you where you are, bringing a wholistic, systems approach, working with thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations to help you gain insight. I come from empathy and authentic connection. I tap into the wisdom of the body to help people know what is true for them, and weave mindful awareness into my work. I believe every person has the innate capacity for transformational healing and growth. I welcome all clients who are interested in healing, and I do my best work with people who are ready to go inside and willing to go deep (and who could use some support to do that).

After growing and practicing my own leadership skills to facilitate organizational change and coach people to grow their skills and capabilities, I came to recognize the deep truth that emotional intelligence is the foundation of outstanding leadership and pivoted my focus toward working with private clients to support them in growing their emotional well-being, relationship health, and alignment between their internal lives and external lived reality. I have a doctorate in Sociology from University of California – Berkeley. Before starting my private practice, I spent over 20 years as a leader across a wide range of organizations – academic, health care, non-profit services, philanthropy, and high tech.

I am formally trained in trauma-informed and somatic methods, and continue to grow my skills with ongoing participation in training. Here are some of the trainings I have completed:
